Carma is a process engineering specialist with twenty-seven years of experience in polymers, base chemicals and refining. She spent twenty years working with Kraton ® Polymers in process research and development as well as working at the chemical plant. Carma was awarded twenty-two patents during her career at Shell Chemical Company. Additionally, she was a department manager as Shell, commercialized 1,3-propanediol, designed market development units and pilot plants, provided economic analyses and assessed competitive technologies.
Carma is currently employed by Kelly Scientific Resources and works part-time supporting Kraton Polymers as a contactor. She resides in Houston, Texas.
