LISA KRUEGER |
Lisa Krueher is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Essential Power, a wholesale power generation company engaged in the ownership and operation of over 1,700 MW of natural gas fired and hydro generating facilities in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern United States.
Prior to joining Essential Power in March, 2014, Lisa was a senior officer at First Solar, Inc., a US based manufacturer of solar modules where she led domestic and international business development, government affairs, communications, and sustainability as First Solar went from a start-up venture, to the #1 IPO of 2006, to the world's largest manufacturer of solar modules.
Earlier in her career, Lisa held several executive level positions at Dynegy, Inc., a wholesale power generation company, and Illinois Power, an electric and gas utility. Her roles ranged from commodity trading, generation and transmission planning, electric transmission system operations, generation system operation, environmental, health and safety, and enterprise risk management.
Lisa has an MBA from Rice University in Houston, Texas and was a Cum laude graduate of the Missouri University of Science & Technology with a degree in Chemical Engineering.
Lisa is married to her husband, Curt Krueger, who is also a Missouri University of Science & Technology Chemical Enginerring alumni. Curt and Lisa have a daughter, Kelsey, and a son-in-law Tyler Hartpence.
