In his thirty-five year career with Conoco, Dennis has worked in Oklahoma, Colorado, Texas, Montana, Connecticut, and Japan. He has held positions of chief engineer, operations manager, refinery manager, general manager of global coke, general manager of crude oil trading and marine, President of the Far East, and Vice President of SH&E. Dennis has served as a board member for community and non-profit organizations and has served on advisory boards for the Institute of Nuclear Plant Operations and the Mary Kay O'Connor Process Safety Center. He also served as President of the UMR Academy of Chemical Engineers.Dennis and his wife Sue, have been OGS members since 1996, and Dennis has served on the OGS Board. Since his retirement in 2002, Dennis and Sue have remained active in their church and communities splitting between Houston and Edwards, Colorado. They have two sons and eight grandchildren. Dennis was inducted into the Academy in 1996.
