STEPHEN SCHADE |
Steve Schade was most recently a Senior Engineer at AECOM, which he joined in 2012, working primarily on projects for clients in the petroleum and chemical industries. Previously he was employed at UOP, specializing in aromatics processes as process design coordinator. Earlier in his career he was involved in process development work with Institute of Gas Technology, Searle, and USG.
Steve has BS and MS degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Missouri at Rolla (now Missouri University of Science & Technology). His MS thesis focused on nucleate boiling from polymer coated surfaces.
He has been active on the American Institute of Chemical Engineers section Student Outreach committee, giving presentations at schools and helping prepare displays for Chemistry Day and Engineers Week. During that time, he also served as section chair, vice-chair programming, and secretary. His contributions include judging science fairs and tutoring high school students in math and science.
