Bruce received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 1992.  Immediately following his graduation from UMR, he began his career with Shell Oil Company as a unit process engineer.  In 1993, he left his engineering career to pursue a law degree at the University of   Missouri-Columbia School of Law.  Bruce received his juris doctor degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law in 1996 and accepted a position as an attorney with the law firm of Husch & Eppenberger (now Husch Blackwell LLP).  He is admitted to practice in the states of Missouri and Kansas and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

After serving 18 years as an attorney and partner in the Husch Blackwell intellectual property practice group, specializing in patent, trademark and copyright law, Bruce left the firm to establish his own intellectual property law firm, Campbell IP.  Campbell IP serves clients all over the country, ranging from individual inventors and small companies to Fortune 500 companies.   Bruce also serves as intellectual property counsel for the St. Louis corporate law firm, Stock Legal, LLC.    

Bruce was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, where he currently resides.
