Zeb is currently site manager for Exxon Mobil Chemical Plant in Baytown, Texas. In his career with Exxon Mobil, he has held many management positions in domestic and international operations. Zeb also served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Kenya for two years. He is a very familiar face to the UMR faculty, staff, students, and alumni. Zeb serves on the UMR Board of Trustees, is past Chairman of the African-American Recruitment and Retention Committee, is Past President of the Alumni Association's Board of Directors, and is an Admissions Ambassador. The Georgia Mae Smith Nash Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund, in memory of his mother, has been established to help chemical engineering students. Zeb and his wife Harriet have been OGS members since 1988, and they reside in Houston, Texas. Zeb was inducted into the Academy in 1996.
