Ken's 30-year career with E.I DuPont de Nemours & Co., Inc. began in May 1974 at Old Hickory, Tennessee as a Process Development Engineer. He moved to Cape Fear, North Carolina, in March 1975 where he worked in various R&D, Technical, Technical supervision and Manufacturing supervision assignments. From 1979 to 1998, he moved four times held leadership positions in Supply Chain management, Sales, Corporate Planning, Manufacturing management, R&D management and Business management. He moved to Geneva, Switzerland in 1988 as Regional Business Director for DuPont's Petrochemical's Department. Ken returned to Wilmington, Delaware in August 1991 and held management assignments in Sales/Marketing, Business, Manufacturing, Integrated Operations and Human Resource prior to becoming Vice President and General Manager of DuPont's Nylon Intermediates, Specialties & Polymer business and a Corporate Officer. In May 2003, Ken assumed additional global responsibilities for DuPont's Lycra® Intermediates and PTA businesses.

Ken retired for DuPont on April 30, 2004 and began working for INVISTA S.a.r.l., a 100% owned subsidiary of Kock Industries as President of INVISTA's S.a.r.l. Polyester, Spandex and Nylon Intermediates's business. Ken and his wife Janice reside in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Ken was inducted into the Academy in 2003.
