Christina Witt

Christina Witt has built a distinguished career of more than 30 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing, marked by progressive leadership and technical excellence. She began as a Process Engineer at Mallinckrodt Specialty Chemicals, where she managed complex API processes, led major expansion projects, and then advanced into leadership roles. While there, her achievements included implementing Process Safety Management, leading Six Sigma continuous improvement initiatives, and earning a corporate award for emissions reduction. She later joined Alpharma, managing and executing capital projects including a cleanroom expansion and a process control system upgrade in a fill-finish facility. Christina has been with MilliporeSigma since 2004, where she began as a Validation Engineer, then as a technical specialist in Quality Assurance. Since 2017, she has held multiple leadership roles.  She’s currently a GMP Facility Engineering Manager supporting large scale projects in their Global Engineering and Technology Group to maximize antibody drug conjugate production and building GMP compliant facilities.

Christina is an active member of Tau Beta Pi and Omega Chi Epsilon, as well as a member of AIChE and the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers. She lives in Waterloo, Illinois, with her husband David (BS, MS Comp Science) and their two sons. She earned her BS ChE at Missouri S&T in 1994.
