Upon completion of his master's degree, Kenneth joined Shell Development Company at the Emeryville Research Laboratories in the Process Development Industrial Chemicals Department. In 1965, he was named Supervisor in the Chemical Process Design Department with responsibilities for design of Shell's globally licensed ethylene oxide/ethylene glycol process. Kenneth transferred to Shell Chemicals Head Office in New York City in 1967 as Project Evaluation Manager in the Industrial Chemicals Division. His progressive assignments include Research Manager-Industrial Chemicals, Business Manager-Olefins, Venture Manager-Cogeneration Investments, Planning Manager-Chemicals, and Venture Manager-Saudi Arabian Petrochemical Complex. Kenneth joined the Resins Business Center in 1987 as Technical/Operations Manager, a position he held until his retirement in 1994. During his professional career, he was active in the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, serving as Chairman of the Fuels and Petrochemical Division in 1981. He was also active in the South Texas Section of AIChE, serving as Treasurer, Vice Chairman, and then Chairman in 1986. He and his wife Ramona became members of OGS in 1998 and reside in Kerrville, Texas. Kenneth was inducted into the Academy in 1997.
